Kalasatama

Avara’s new project in Kalasatama contributes to the renewal of Kalasatama’s old industrial quarter near Teurastamo. The construction of two residential buildings at Vanha talvitie 3 has been completed. One of the buildings includes eight storeys and the other four storeys. The buildings, which were finished in the end of 2021, include some 80 apartments in all. The project was implemented in cooperation with Lehto Asunnot Oy.

Kalasatama is being built by the sea in the eastern section of inner city Helsinki. It is one of the largest new areas under construction in Helsinki and will remain under construction until the late 2030s. The former port and industrial district has already transformed into a neighbourhood of more than 5,000 residents and thousands of new jobs.
