The rental process for Avara’s new properties in Keski-Pasila, which will be completed in summer 2025, began at the end of last week, and demand for the apartments has been remarkably high. The speed of initial rentals at Tulistimenkatu 4, located near the Tripla shopping center and Pasila station, has broken all previous records for Avara, as nearly all apartments were rented within a week.
Keski-Pasila is one of the fastest-developing areas in Helsinki, known for its excellent transport connections and services, as well as its proximity to the city center. In total, Avara will build three new properties in this central location during 2025, all within easy reach of services and public transport. The properties will include a total of 235 rental apartments, the first 100 of which will be completed during the summer on Tulistimenkatu, across two locations.
Tulistimenkatu 4 will consist of a 44-apartment short-term interest subsidy rental property, complementing the portfolio of the Avara Vuokrakodit I fund, which focuses on affordable housing. The apartments include studios, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom units, ranging in size from 28 to 59 square meters. Each apartment features a stylish and harmonious interior, designed by a professional interior designer, as well as high-quality fixtures and fittings. The construction of the property follows sustainable development principles and meets the requirements for energy class A.
