By the end of September, 69 energy-efficient and affordable rental apartments will be completed for Avara on the edge of the so-called Sohlberg block in Peltisepänkuja in Herttoniemi. The new property development project, located in the immediate vicinity of the shopping centre Hertsi and the metro station, has been implemented in accordance with the requirements of energy class A. The renting of the apartments started at the turn of June–July, and all apartments were reserved by the beginning of August.

Peltisepänkuja 5 in Helsinki is a rental property under the short-term interest subsidy loan scheme, complementing the housing portfolio of the Avara Vuokrakodit I fund that invests in affordable housing. The main contractor of this new property development project is JM Suomi Oy. They have built apartment blocks designed for owner-occupied housing in the same area.
